About Us

Thurlby Herb Farm is about 420 kilometres south of Perth, located between the tall forest country and rolling farmlands of North Walpole.

In 1974 we decided to escape the hectic life of the city and made the five-hour drive south, through the ancient old growth forests of Walpole, to settle on a small tranquil farm.

To supplement the family income we started using locally grown products and wildflowers from the property to make soaps and jams on the wood stove in our farm kitchen.

From this simple beginning Thurlby Herb Farm has grown into a successful company with an international reputation for producing unique, elegant, fine quality products.

Today Thurlby is the largest private employer in the Walpole district and their products are available in retail outlets throughout Australia, Europe and Asia.
